What is the foundation of a lasting relationship? For Moncler and Hiroshi Fujiwara it starts with love. It is no coincidence that the collaboration with the Japanese designer is one of the longest in the history of Moncler Genius. This special relationship is presented in Love is Human, the new campaign shot by Tokyo-based photographer and director Xavier Tera and presented through the eyes of LOVOT. LOVOTs are miniature robots that Fujiwara introduced Moncler to at The Art of Genius event in London, designed to give unconditional love.
The collection itself is also a declaration of love for Moncler: from the brand's iconography, which "embraces" the FRGMT lettering, to the reinterpretation of styles from the brand's archives that are reworked with a modern twist. Highlights of the collaboration include the Celsia, a reimagining of the varsity jacket according to Hiroshi Fujiwara, made for a new audience. Each jacket features a unique serial number, making it a one-of-a-kind collectible, and is lovingly stamped with the street name of Moncler's design office in Milan. A real collector's item for Moncler lovers. Included in the collection are the Anthemiock down jacket, made of bold shiny nylon with a removable hood, the Amaranth jacket with Everest 2 graphics, the Anthericum down jacket, and the Socotrine jacket. The Moncler x FRGMT collection will be available in selected Moncler boutiques and on moncler.com from June 8.
