Moncler celebrates the 20th anniversary of Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club with an exclusive collection, capturing the distinct essence of both brands.
Moncler x Billionaire Boys Club, which launches August 15, creatively combines Italian luxury with modern streetwear. The accompanying campaign features influential music duo Clipse, with Pusha T and No Malice sporting key designs from the collection. Billionaire Boys Club, the luxury streetwear brand founded by Pharrell Williams and Nigo, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and has consistently pushed boundaries with its innovative designs and unique motifs. Moncler celebrated its 70th anniversary last year and has a long tradition of creating timeless garments that combine innovative functionality and fashion.
The Moncler x Billionaire Boys Club collection is a testament to the magic that can happen when two creative powerhouses join forces. The range of outerwear and lightweight layers showcases Moncler's signature silhouettes, expert craftsmanship and attention to detail, along with BBC Icecream's signature astronaut motif, creating a new combined logo that seamlessly unites the two brands. Highlights of the collection include the down-filled Melton wool varsity jacket and the down-filled puffer jacket. The signature BBC Diamond & Dollar pattern is embossed on the puffer jacket, further emphasizing the identity of the collaboration.
The collection also includes a number of garments that complement the jackets. A wool and cashmere knit sweater with Milano Stitch elbow patches, a cotton jersey crewneck T-shirt, a loose-fitting hoodie with felted BBC Icecream and Moncler logos, and track pants with nylon knee patches and elastic cuffs broaden the offer. In addition, the collaboration extends to accessories such as an ultra-fine wool jacquard knit beanie with a Diamonds & Dollar motif, as well as BBC Icecream's reinterpretation of Moncler's Trailgrip Après boots. The boots combine a Vibram MEGAGRIP rubber compound with a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane for supreme functionality and style.
What makes this collaboration even more interesting is the involvement of Clipse, the influential music duo consisting of Pusha T and No Malice. Clipse's influence on both the hip-hop world and the fashion industry cannot be overstated. Not only is the duo known for their distinctive lyrics and thought-provoking narratives, but they have also made waves with their impeccable sense of style. The Moncler x Billionaire Boys Club campaign with Pusha T and No Malice features the pair wearing pieces from the collection on an icy photo set, complete with oversized Diamond & Dollars props. Their presence adds an undeniable aura of authenticity and creativity to the campaign, and perfectly matches the fusion of luxury and streetwear that the collaboration embodies.
The Moncler x Billionaire Boys Club collection will be available at global BBC Icecream flagship stores, bbcicecream.com and moncler.com.
